Business Development Specialist – Litigation Practice (Washington, DC or New York, NY | Hybrid)

Seeking a Business Development Specialist to support marketing and client development efforts for the Litigation Department of a top international law firm. This hybrid position is open to local candidates in DC or NY with professional services BD/marketing experience (legal industry preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage RFPs, pitches, and proposals from planning through submission.

• Draft and edit marketing materials, attorney bios, and practice collateral.

• Coordinate Chambers, Legal 500, and other legal directory submissions.

• Organize conferences, sponsorships, webinars, and speaking engagements.

• Leverage CRM and experience databases to identify targets and track opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years in BD, marketing, or client relations (legal preferred).

• Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
