    The Business Development Specialist will serve as a key driver of growth by generating new business opportunities and cultivating strong relationships with prospective clients across all service divisions, maintenance, enhancements, and snow operations. This role is centered on lead generation, proposal development, and closing new sales to support the company's long-term success.

    To thrive in this position, you must be a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.     We offer a competitive base salary of $60,000–$65,000 (based on experience) plus commission potential, along with a comprehensive benefits package including Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, Generous Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays, 401(k) with a 4% company match and Company vehicle.

    Requirements for the Business Development Specialist:

    • 3+ years of experience in landscape maintenance, construction, or a related industry (2+ years in a leadership or sales role preferred).
    • Strong time management and organizational skills.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail with an aptitude for problem solving.
    • Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs with minimal supervision.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive approach to scheduling, goal setting and accountability.
    • Familiarity with CRM and proposal platforms; experience with Aspire, HubSpot, or Proposify is a strong plus.

    Responsibilities for the Business Development Specialist:

    • Implement lead generation strategies to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
    • Develop detailed proposals and estimates that align with client needs and company profitability goals.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospects to convert leads into long-term clients.
    • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute strategic business development plans.
    • Track project progress, manage budgets, and adjust strategies to ensure goals are met.
    • Support a positive and productive work environment by aligning with company values and goals.
