    The Position:

    As a Business Development and Customer Success Associate, you will be the first point of contact for prospective and current customers. Your role is to support enrollment growth, deliver exceptional service/experience, and represent British Swim School’s values with professionalism and enthusiasm.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Answer phone calls, respond to emails and online chats

    Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and class adjustments. Prioritize as needed

    Process enrollments, payments, and schedule changes

    Make outbound calls to self-generated and acquired leads

    Maintain accurate call records by documenting all call details in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP).

    Business Development - working with community partners (daycares, preschools, etc.)

    Represent British Swim School during local outreach and marketing initiatives

    Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM

    Track and report lead follow-ups and enrollment conversions

    Attend staff meetings and stay informed about local promotions and events

    Creating and maintaining Swim Instructors’ schedule on a weekly basis

    Skills and Abilities:

    Positive, enthusiastic personality with excellent communication skills

    Strong customer service and sales abilities

    Comfortable with multitasking and technology (phone systems, CRM, etc.)

    Reliable, organized, and committed to following procedures

    Completion of required training (CRM, online training modules, etc.)

    Bilingual skills are a plus

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or Equivalent

    Customer Service or Sales experience - 1 year (preferred)

    Job Type: Part-time (Day shift)

    Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

    Expected hours of work: 20 – 25 per week. Five days a week including weekends Hybrid Work: On-site during weekdays and remote during weekends. Ability to commute to work location: NW Portland, OR 97229

In this role, you will be talking to parents via the phone and/or omni-channel. Wherever you are, the aim is to make everyone feel like part of the British Swim School Family as we focus on ensuring the “Survival of the Littlest.”
