    Description

    As a Business Excellence Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    • Defines opportunities, analyzes data with cross-functional partners, and implements improvements in conjunction with the business unit
    • Leads changes, connects with others, and shapes the environment.
    • Well-developed problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to listen, learn, teach, and think strategically is required.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of the manufacturing process and functions of various processes supporting the operation.
    • Performs trend analysis in key performance indicators and creates periodic reports for distribution to management.
    • Leads and/or supports the completion of projects that achieve a quality/cost/scrap reduction benefit.
    • Demonstrates knowledge of factors against which production effectiveness is measured, including elements such as inventory effectiveness (i.e. WIP), product quality (i.e. critical Quality attributes, critical process parameters, proven acceptable ranges, etc.) and other relevant metrics.
    • Demonstrates understanding of common engineering analysis tools such as statistical process control, Six Sigma, and Lean

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Technical- or university-degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or other similar field.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • Requires 0-2 Years Work Experience
    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio and Minitab knowledge is highly desirable.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills is required.
    • Strong communication, advocacy and business partnering skills!
    • Ability to work independently as well as with a diversified team
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects required.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in data analytics and statistical analysis.
    • Familiarity with Lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles.
    • Proficiency in computer programming and data visualization tools.

    Other:

    • Requires Fluency in English
    • Travel Approximately 10% of the Time
