    About the Role:

    As a Business / Functional Analyst at Navaide, you will bridge the gap between mission needs and technical solutions by uncovering requirements, mapping processes, and shaping strategies that enable transformation across government programs. Your skills in process discovery, writing detailed user stories, and developing Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents will support system design, enterprise modernization, and successful delivery of digital solutions.

    How you will Make an Impact:

    You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including users, developers, and program managers—to ensure requirements are complete, traceable, and aligned with operational goals in fast-paced, mission-focused environments.

    Relevant Skills and Experience:

    • 5+ years of experience as a business or functional analyst supporting technical or digital transformation programs
    • Proven ability to conduct process discovery, business process modeling, and workflow mapping
    • Skilled in writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules in agile environments
    • Experience supporting the development of CONOPS, requirements traceability matrices, and use cases
    • Strong understanding of SDLC, agile delivery, and requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps)
    • Excellent facilitation, interviewing, and documentation skills
    • Ability to translate complex technical language into clear business needs and vice versa

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Lead process discovery sessions with stakeholders to document as-is and to-be workflows
    • Gather, validate, and prioritize requirements and translate them into actionable user stories
    • Support the development of CONOPS documents, business cases, and stakeholder analysis
    • Facilitate workshops and work sessions to align business and technical perspectives
    • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, testers, and product owners to ensure requirements are clear and actionable
    • Contribute to risk identification, impact analysis, and stakeholder engagement strategies
    • Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and final deliverables

    Security Clearance:

    Must be eligible to receive a DoD security clearance.

    Travel:

    Occasional travel may be required (<25%).

    Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Equivalent experience or certifications may be considered in lieu of a degree.
