    Cedar Park Group is actively seeking a talented Business Intelligence & Data Visualization Specialist (Level II) for a long-term hybrid opportunity in Albany, NY. If you're experienced in Power BI and Tableau and ready to transform complex public sector data into clear, actionable insights, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the health and human services space.

    Schedule: Full-time, 35–40 hours/week, Hybrid
    Start Date: ASAP
    Duration: 19 months (through 3/21/2027)

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain dynamic dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
    • Design and optimize data models to support performance, product, and program reporting
    • Translate raw operational data into clear visual narratives for leadership decision-making
    • Identify performance trends and gaps using advanced analytical and visualization techniques
    • Collaborate with leadership and cross-agency stakeholders to gather requirements
    • Ensure data quality, documentation, and long-term dashboard performance
    • Provide training to end-users and district teams to promote understanding and usage

    Mandatory Requirements:

    • 4–7 years of experience as a BI Specialist
    • Extensive hands-on experience with Power BI and Tableau (reporting, dashboards, data modeling)
    • Proven ability to convert data into meaningful visual insights

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Strong SQL skills including T-SQL, SSRS, Power Query

    • Knowledge of DAX and complex Power BI calculations

    • Experience with data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing

    • Public sector or inter-agency collaboration experience preferred

    • Excellent communication skills for both technical and executive audiences

    • Ability to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets
