Key Responsibilities of a Litigation Associate:
- Manage day-to-day litigation activities including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and strategy development
- Collaborate with expert witnesses and prepare for hearings and trials
- Negotiate case resolutions and engage in settlement discussions
- Communicate directly with clients and contribute to case strategy
- Support trial teams in preparing for and participating in trial proceedings
What We're Looking For in a Litigation Associate:
- 3–5 years of experience in business and/or commercial litigation
- Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
- Confidence in managing files and working independently, while also thriving in a team environment
- A proactive, client-focused mindset with an eye for delivering value
- Admission to practice in Missouri (Kansas admission is a plus)
