Newport business and corporate law firm is looking to hire a business and corporate litigation attorney to assist with various matters including motion practice, dispute resolution, and representation in a case from inception through resolution.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- JD from a top 20 law school per U.S. News Ranking.
- Minimum 3 years in the practice of law.
- Admitted to practice in California.
- Experience with various business corporate documentation drafting.
- Experience with motion practice.
- Experience with discovery and all aspects of litigation.
- Experience with client representations before different judicial forums including arbitration.
- Experience with developing case strategy based on a proper case assessment in coordination with client’s objectives.
- Client oriented skills.
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong legal research skills.
- Self-Starter.
- Strong Team Player.
Some of the primary tasks that our litigation attorney would be responsible for are without limitation:
- Thorough initial assessment and planning including proper case factual questionnaire.
- Customizing and implementing various case options strategies.
- Managing case load and prioritizing file matters.
- Conducting thorough analysis and providing updates to clients on an on-going basis.
- Assisting the firm with any other work as needed.
