Location: Redding, CA Job Type: Full-Time (Hourly, Non-Exempt) Pay: $28.00–$34.00/hour (overtime eligible)
About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support utility vegetation management operations through reporting, data analysis, and operational coordination. This role partners with field teams and leadership to improve performance, planning, and execution.
This position is ideal for candidates early in their career or transitioning into an operations-focused analytical role. The right candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and motivated to learn, with the potential to grow into a supervisory role.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain recurring operational and performance reports
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
Create dashboards and KPI reporting using Excel and BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
Support field teams with planning, scheduling, and performance tracking using systems such as Salesforce or other operational platforms
Assist with process improvements, data accuracy, and documentation (SOPs)
Support reporting, presentations, and operational reviews
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field (preferred)
0–3 years of relevant experience (including internships or academic projects)
Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis; exposure to Power Query)
Experience building reports or dashboards (Power BI or similar tools)
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and data accuracy

Preferred
Exposure to operations, utilities, construction, logistics, or field-based environments

Exposure to data reporting, queries, or workflow/system tools
Exposure to workforce planning, forecasting, or resource tracking
Work Environment
Office-based with regular interaction with field teams
Occasional travel to field locations
Overtime may be required during peak periods
This position is based in Redding, CA. Candidates must be local or willing to relocate independently. Relocation assistance is not provided.
