    Are you looking to join a team-oriented Apple Consultancy (MSP) with a collaborative environment, opportunities to shape policy and procedure, and ongoing training? Second Son Consulting is seeking a Business Operations Manager to oversee the financial, HR, operational, and administrative backbone of the business. This role requires strong judgment, clear communication, and the ability to balance day-to-day responsibilities with ongoing process improvement and long-term operational planning. This is a hybrid role based in Encino, CA.

    We’ll Provide:

    • Salary of $110,000 per year


    What You'll Do:

    • Financial Operations & Billing: Owns full billing cycle (T&M, retainers, cloud, fixed-fee), reconciles vendor charges, audits invoices, manages credits/commissions, produces AR updates, and serves as first-line support for billing inquiries.

    • Vendor & HR Operations: Manages HR-related vendors and company vendors, ensures renewals and compliance, maintains HR policies/handbook, oversees office supply/vendor relationships, and ensures alignment of expense/billing data with accounting.

    • Operational Process Management: Documents and maintains operational processes, audits timesheets and policy compliance, manages onboarding/offboarding, monitors operational inboxes, supports year-end initiatives, and facilitates Monday all-staff meetings.

    • HR Operations & Payroll: Serves as internal HR point of contact, coordinates annual review logistics, manages compensation/payroll data updates, partners on payroll administration, and acts as backup payroll processor.

    • Office & Travel Management: Oversees office operations, cleanliness, supplies, celebrations, and delegated office tasks; manages full travel coordination, maintains travel policy, tracks budgets, and drives process improvements.

    • Strategic & Leadership Contribution: Participates in annual planning, monitors operational metrics, recommends process/vendor improvements, communicates professionally, handles sensitive information, and anticipates needs for future support roles.
