About the Opportunity We’re looking for a driven, detail-oriented, and resourceful Business Operations Manager to join a nationally recognized insurance and financial practice serving high-net-worth individuals and business owners. This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role at the heart of a high-performance advisory firm. You won’t be managing people—you’ll be managing the business itself. You’ll work directly with the principal advisor, a top-ranking professional in the insurance space, helping to run the day-to-day operations and scale the business to the next level. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Oversee the entire life insurance application process , from intake to issue • Communicate with underwriting teams , carriers, and strategic partners to track and resolve outstanding items • Review all paperwork and submissions for accuracy and completeness • Schedule client meetings, calls, and reviews, managing the advisor’s calendar with intention • Monitor workflows and internal processes to ensure timely and seamless execution • Track follow-ups, pipeline progress, and client onboarding milestones • Support the advisor with strategic planning, business organization, and growth initiatives • Be the operational backbone of the practice, ensuring no ball is ever dropped Qualifications: Who You Are • You’re organized, proactive, and don’t wait to be told what to do • You understand insurance (especially life insurance) and are familiar with underwriting and case management • You communicate clearly, professionally, and can speak with confidence to carriers, underwriters, and clients • You love bringing order to chaos, spotting inefficiencies, and solving problems • You take pride in running a tight ship and seeing every case through to completion • You’re not afraid of hard work, and you want to grow with a firm that rewards it Who You Are • 3–5 years of experience in insurance operations, financial services, or client service/case management • Strong working knowledge of life insurance underwriting and application workflows • Proficiency with CRMs, cloud-based workflow tools, and document management platforms • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience • Experience working with financial advisors, brokers, or high-net-worth clients is a plus Compensation: $65,000 – $90,000 base salary
