    Overview

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Operations Specialist with a focus on solar module manufacturing to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in property management, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment. As a key player in our operations, you will help streamline administrative processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    1. Process Optimization : Analyze and improve administrative to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.

    2. Project Management : Coordinate and manage projects assigned by senior management.

    3. Data Analysis : Gather, analyze, and report on operational data to identify trends, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.

    4. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with business development, procurement, administration, production, and facilities to ensure uniformity of business activities.

    5. Continuous Improvement : Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives within all business processes, focusing on waste reduction, automation, and elimination of duplication.

    6. Reporting : Prepare regular reports and ad-hoc reports on operational performance, standardized metrics, and project progress for senior management.

    7. Property Management : be the primary point of contact for all issues that relate to the business premises, including communication with landlord, service vendors, and city/county/precinct permitting officials.

    8. Complete any other tasks assigned by management.

    Required Education/Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year university in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required.
    • Fluency in English. Bi-lingual in Chinese (Mandarin) and/or Spanish preferred.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in multi-disciplinary operations with a focus on the solar industry or in related renewable energy manufacturing facility.
    • Proven experience in process optimization and continuous improvement methodology.
    • Familiarity with solar energy technologies, specifically photovoltaic (PV) modules is highly preferred.

    • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent project management skills with experience in leading cross-functional teams.
    • Problem solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement methods.
    • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining multiple priorities effectively.

    Work Environment

    The work environment for the position includes enclosed offices and workshop production floor.

    Physical Demands

    The physical demands of the position include sitting at an office desk, using a computer and keyboard, walking, standing, and reaching on a regular basis; ability to speak and hear; ability to visually detect product color and shading variation; entering text or data via keyboard into a computer; seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hands; ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or sounds.
