Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Process Architect to define the end-to-end ecosystem for IT Project & Portfolio Management (PPM), Planning, and Forecasting. This role will focus on understanding and streamlining how strategic initiatives are planned, prioritized, executed, and monitored, including alignment with financial forecasting and resource capacity planning.
This is a high-impact role aimed at improving decision-making, investment governance, planning accuracy, and delivery performance across the IT and enterprise portfolio.
Key Objectives:
Design a scalable, integrated business process architecture that spans:
Project intake and demand management
Portfolio prioritization and governance
Resource and capacity planning
Budgeting and financial forecasting
Execution tracking and benefits realization
Responsibilities:
Engage key business and IT stakeholders to gather current-state processes, tools, and pain points.
Map the end-to-end value stream for PPM and Planning, from ideation to benefit realization.
Develop a target operating model and process architecture for project intake, prioritization, approvals, execution, and closure.
Define process linkages between project planning, finance, workforce planning, and performance monitoring.
Recommend improvements in governance, tooling, and decision workflows.
Align ecosystem design with enterprise architecture and strategic planning frameworks.
Deliver comprehensive documentation including:
Capability maps
Process models (BPMN or equivalent)
Future-state blueprints
Recommendations roadmap
Deliverables:
Current-state assessment report
Future-state ecosystem blueprint (PPM, Planning & Forecasting)
Business capability and value stream models
Target Operating Model
Governance and decision framework
Gap analysis and transformation roadmap
