Job Summary

We are seeking an Echocardiac Technologist to join our team! As an Echocardiac Technologist, you will be responsible for greeting new patients, explaining the procedure, and answering any questions they may have as to what they can expect. You will also perform the ultrasound itself, visualize internal cardiac structures, obtain relevant measurements, and occasionally assist the physician with particularly complex and demanding procedures. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of cardiology, has excellent communication and customer service skills, and has the required licensure needed by the state. Contract Details

12 week travel contract

SHIFTS: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:00), Mon-Fri

Estimated weekly gross pay=$2,040

Call Requirement: NONE

Float Requirement: NONE

Weekend Requirement: NONE

Responsibilities

Answer patient questions, obtain relevant medical history, and explain the upcoming procedure

Perform the cardiac ultrasound, recording accurate, relevant data

Consult with colleagues or physicians as needed to best interpret the data

Assist other technologists or colleague as needed

Accurate record all findings

Qualifications

1-year minimum experience

Skills: Outpatient Clinic Experience MUST!!

Adult Echo Skills: 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contract Agents, Treadmill Stress Echo

Calculations: Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area

Certs: BLS, ARDMS & CCI Required

Must have experience with Phillips equipment

FLU VACCINES REQUIRED DURING SEASON
