BPN Staffing Solutions is seeking Stepdown RN, for a 13 week contract.

The Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient care utilizing the nursing process through data collection and assessment, identifying and determining the priority of patient’s problems/needs, and evaluating the process and outcome of nursing care, all in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. The RN coordinates, provides, and directs patient teaching activities and coordinates the care provided by health team members.

Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)

13 week travel contract

FLOATING REQUIRED to other intermediate areas along with critical care.

Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends every 6 weeks, total of 6 weekend shifts between Saturday and Sundays

Required Certs:

BLS

ACLS

NIHSS

Preferred certs: CCRN, TNCC AND CPI.

Required Experience:

2+ years of PCU experience

Neuro experience requested

Required skills: Telemetry, Vents, IV Start

Preferred skills:Triage, ICP, Conscious Sedation and Charge Nurse Experience.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Intermediate population that is sub specialized with neurological population along with medical intermediate patients.

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: This patient population will be geared towards the neurological patients along with the medical intermediate patient population.
