BPN Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract.
Shift: 3x12-Hour Monday & Tuesday (9a-9:30p) and Thursday (6:30a-7p)
Job Summary:
Scan a wide variety of exams, the primary patient population is adult Inpatients and ED patients.
Able to maintain a safe MRI environment with a focus on safety and patient care.
Occasional stroke protocol for both IP and ED patients.
MRI Technologist Responsibilities:
Analyzing patient histories and completing screenings for pacemakers and injuries where metal objects were involved.
Preparing and administering contrast dyes.
Addressing patients’ concerns and ensuring that they are comfortable and calm during scans.
Performing regular inspections of the MRI equipment and machines, and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed.
Positioning the patients and completing MRI scans according to the physicians' specifications.
Requirements:
Must have 2 year of recent MRI Technologist Experience!
Must have valid BLS (American Heart Association)
ARRT(R)(MR)
Proof of covid vaccine
MRI PROCEDURE EXPERIENCE: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Diffusion (non-brain), Gradient Echo Imaging, Image Post-Processing, Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP), Multiplanar Reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic Resonance, Spectroscopy, Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 & T-2 Weighted Images
WORK SETTING EXPERIENCE: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, Adult ICU GENERAL SETTING EXPERIENCE: PACS, Contrast
PATIENT AGE GROUPS: Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics (REQUIRED)
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens (Avanto and Sola) and GE Premier MUST BE COMPETENT ON BOTH
