BPN is seeking Neuro ICU RNs, for a 13 week contract.

Must Haves:

ACLS

BLS

NIHSS

At least 2 years of recent Neuro experience

Flexibility to float within organization if needed

Required skills: Interpretation and management of dysrythmias required, IV Insulin protocols, Accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IV's, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains, ICP, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, BiPAP, Care of Ventilated Patient, CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy.

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: SICU, teaching hospital experience , Sheath Removal, Multi-system organ failure, Hypothermia protocol/Artic Sun, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac

Available to work some weekends

Job Details:

13-week travel contract

Estimated weekly gross pay= $1,908 (w/ travel stipends included)

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Guaranteed 36 hours a week
