Job Overview
The Conservation and Environment Delivery Center (CEDC) is seeking a Business Requirements Coordinator with strong administrative, organizational, and customer-facing skills to support the Commonwealth’s business approval process. This role focuses on managing and facilitating agency requests, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely approvals across a complex workflow.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working with customers, vendors, and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with agency customers to gather and document business requirements in alignment with established policies and procedures
Prepare, submit, and track documentation required for security, legal, and administrative approvals
Coordinate meetings with legal, business, security, and technical stakeholders to ensure timely request processing
Review and provide input on contracts and business-related agreements
Collaborate with vendors to communicate Commonwealth requirements and cloud use documentation
Research existing Commonwealth solutions to determine if they meet business needs
Provide guidance to customers on the business approval process and related policies
Track, manage, and report on backlog of requests
Facilitate follow-ups and requests for additional information during the approval lifecycle
Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for agencies and delivery center staff
Required Experience & Skills
2+ years of experience in project management, program management, or process administration
3+ years of customer-facing experience
1+ year of vendor management experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and coordination skills
Experience with business requirements gathering and documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage workflows, priorities, and detailed documentation

Additional Requirements
Candidate must report onsite at the start and end of the contract to inventory Commonwealth-issued equipment (no equipment shipped)
Overtime is not permitted without prior written approval
