Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, workforce development, human resources, public administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Advanced education is valued in support of program leadership, strategic planning, and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Demonstrated experience in employer engagement, business services, workforce development, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience, including hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including comfort with public speaking and delivering professional presentations to diverse audiences.
- Experience engaging employers, partners, or senior/executive‑level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, results‑driven environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and relationship‑management skills.
- Working knowledge of workforce programs, compliance requirements, or performance‑based contracts preferred.
Additional Information
- Starting Salary: $36.06 per hour, with an annual salary range of $75,000–$85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
- This is a salaried leadership position that requires flexibility to meet program, employer, and partnership needs.
- Non‑traditional hours are required and may include early mornings, evenings, or event‑based schedules.
- Periods of high activity, rapid execution, and time‑sensitive deliverables are expected in this role.
- A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel as needed without restriction within the service area are required.
- Local travel is an essential function of the role and includes attending employer meetings, events, off‑site engagements, and partner activities.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support operational needs and program objectives.
