    Job Description

    The Business Solutions Analyst - Configuration supports the ongoing development, customization, and optimization of NBCUniversal’s enterprise contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform, a Saas solution. This role works closely with Legal Operations to gather requirements, configure templates, implement system enhancements, and ensure the platform meets the evolving needs of the business. The Configuration Team will collaborate closely to align system configurations and strategic goals, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient contract management processes. Additionally, this role will work directly with the CLM vendor to upload templates into production, coordinate software updates, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Gather, analyze, and document configuration requirements for contract templates, workflows, and system enhancements
    • Configure and test new templates, automated workflows, and system integrations within the CLM platform
    • Manage the upload of contract templates into production in collaboration with the CLM vendor
    • Maintain detailed documentation of configuration changes, business rules, and technical specifications
    • Track and report configuration metrics, including template status, contract creations, and team productivity, using tools like Power Bi and JIRA
    • Implement and optimize AI-driven contract automation features, including data extraction, clause detection, and automated review workflows
    • Monitor and optimize platform configurations to improve system efficiency and reduce manual effort
    • Support data migration, system updates, and ongoing maintenance of CLM configuration settings
    • Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and technical documentation for configured solutions
    • Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve them
    • Stay current on platform updates and industry best practices to enhance system performance and user satisfaction
    • Participate in regular check-ins with upper management to align on project priorities and deliverables
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the CLM platform by identifying automation opportunities and best practices

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of experience in a business analyst, configuration, or systems support role in a corporate or legal setting
    • Experience configuring enterprise software, CLM platforms, or workflow automation tools
    • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
    • Experience with data tracking, reporting, and visualization tools like Power Bi and JIRA
    • Understanding of contract lifecycle management concepts and best practices, including emerging AI technologies
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work independently or in a team setting
    • High degree of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive legal or business information

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience with CLM systems (e.g., Malbek, Icertis, Conga, etc.)
    • Experience in media, entertainment, or legal operations is a plus
    • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA for task tracking
    • Experience with template configuration, workflow automation, and data validation
    • Understanding of AI-driven contract analytics, automated data extraction, and machine learning technologies
    • Strong technical writing skills for documenting complex workflows and configuration changes
    • Ability to analyze large data sets and identify patterns to improve contract management processes

    Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid , generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

    Salary range: $90,000-$115,000
