    As a Business Solutions Consultant Intern in Crowe’s Consulting Practice, your role will be focused on helping clients resolve business needs to improve operating performance, use of technology, delivery of customer experiences and/or management decision making.  You will assist to define, craft, develop and implement business and technology solutions based on analysis of current practices, processes, technologies and data in comparison to leading industry practices, technologies and benchmarks.     Financial Services

    You will have the opportunity to help clients in a wide variety of ways ranging from improving performance to transitioning technology to developing and supporting Crowe technology solutions.  New hires may participate on project teams focused on the analysis and implementation of redesigned processes, the selection and conversion of new systems, the facilitation of strategic business and digital transformation plans, the management of large bank projects, the completion of complex merger transactions, and/or the development and support of Crowe technology applications.  Crowe technology solutions for financial services support robust credit portfolio management, integrated risk management, proactive customer relationship management, and efficient back office processing, as well as other solutions to be developed.

    Healthcare

    You will have the opportunity to impact client performance through data and operational analyses, constructing client reports, and assisting with operational improvement initiatives. Client engagements are focused on a variety of challenges in the healthcare provider space (hospitals, health systems, physician groups, etc.) within the revenue and financial operations realms. Project teams generally work in specific functions within the industry, such as: assisting in various hospital deep financial analyses, month end close optimization and finance operations improvement, assisting in financial analysis to help clients navigate the complex circumstances of payer reimbursement for healthcare services, or assisting with a variety of revenue operations improvement initiatives across the continuum of patient care in order to drive financial improvement for our client organizations.

    Manufacturing and Distribution

    You will work with clients in the manufacturing industry to help transform their business requirements into a state-of-the-art technology solution that will enable their organization to exploit new opportunities, engage better with their customers and compete globally in the dynamic “Cloud-First” era.  New hires will assist in software implementation through requirements gathering, configuration, testing, rollout and training.  Our technology solutions help support business functions such as finance, operations, risk management and compliance. 

    Public Sector

    You will have the opportunity to work with clients in a wide variety of state and local government agencies to help solve problems. This includes helping them determine their needs or assisting them in defining, designing, developing and implementing solutions that provide critical value to their organization. Projects in this role could include business process consulting/reengineering, organizational change management, project management support, technology assessments, financial analysis, municipal advisory, data analysis, and functional assistance implementing new technology systems that enable clients to improve the performance of their organizations. Typical project responsibilities could include process mapping, data and requirements gathering and analysis, client meeting facilitation support, preparing and supporting presentations, project management support, change management, business process analysis and financial analysis. Projects in this role could also be structured around the finance and regulatory compliance needs of state and local governmental organizations in the areas of public finance (municipal advisory, budgeting & forecasting, financial management, arbitrage rebate liability calculations and verification services) or rate and feasibility studies.

    Education:

    • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics,  Operations Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Finance, Public & Environmental Affairs, Supply Chain, Public Policy, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or comparable major.
