    FLSA Classification: Salary- Exempt

    Compensation Range: $90,000 - $105,000 ( Based on Experience)


    Job Summary:

    A leading Cookies manufacturing company in Islip, NY, seeks an experienced Business System Analyst who ensures our day-to-day systems run efficiently and reliably. This role configures and supports our ERP and shop-floor applications, assists users across Finance, Sales, Operations, Warehouse, and Quality, and performs light SQL/reporting. This is a hands-on, practical role focused on resolving issues, improving workflows, documenting changes, and assisting the Managed Services Provider (MSP) with troubleshooting desktop printers, label printers, and scanners.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • ERP configuration and support. (Deacom experience a plus).

    • Configure fields, user roles, workflows and approvals, forms and printouts, reports. Troubleshoot system issues across functional areas and serve as the bridge between business operations and IT to ensure that system design supports operational needs.

    • Shop-floor applications: Administer QAD Redzone (Productivity, Compliance, Reliability) — including user access, teams, and line setup. Maintain configurations and data sheets/triggers used by Production, Quality, and Maintenance.

    • Data quality and reporting: Perform light SQL queries, data reconciliations, and Excel-based analyses. Identify and correct master data or transactional data issues to maintain data integrity.

    • EDI basics: assist Sales in monitoring inbound and outbound EDI documents (850/855/856/810/940/943), reviewing for errors, escalating mapping issues to vendors, and verifying successful file transmission and pickup.

    • User enablement: Triage and resolve Tier-1 and Tier-2 user tickets; train users individually or in small groups; create and maintain concise, visual documentation such as how-tos, screenshots, and release notes.

    • Hardware coordination: Troubleshoot basic workstation and peripheral issues involving kiosks, tablets, scanners, and label printers. Coordinate with the Managed Services Provider (MSP) for network or hardware issues beyond initial diagnostics.

    • Change control and testing: Follow a structured request → configure → test/UAT → release → document process to ensure quality and traceability of system changes. Maintain accurate change logs and version control.

    Job Requirements:

    • Proactive and organized approach to problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to communicate findings clearly.
    • Excellent time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple concurrent requests effectively.
    • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across departments as needed.
    • Skilled Microsoft Office user, particularly in Excel for reporting and data validation.
    • Adheres to company safety and security standards on the plant floor and in system access.

    Experience and Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Information Systems, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related business-analytical field preferred.
    • 4–6 years of experience supporting and configuring ERP or business systems across manufacturing, warehouse, sales, and accounting functions
    • Proven ability to configure, maintain, and optimize ERP functionality; experience with Deacom or comparable ERP platforms strongly preferred.
    • Working knowledge of SQL fundamentals and common reporting tools.
    • Familiarity with desktop printers, Zebra/ZPL label printers, handheld scanners, and basic EDI troubleshooting is advantageous

    Physical Demands and Work Environment:

    • The work is performed in an office. The candidate will need to work across different offices and areas of the plant.
