Job Description

Join this well- established, successful producer of  high -quality food products for the international market. Oversee daily accounting functions and  supervise a small department. Team with the Director of Finance  to monitor and manage internal controls, assist with audits, and prepare fixed assets and depreciation schedules. Your energetic and confident personality, and ability to grasp new concepts quickly could open the door to the Controller position in the future .

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

·         Supervise staff, assist with implementation of new systems and other process improvement

• Overseeing day to day accounting transactions
• Prepare financial statements and analysis
• Maintain multiple general ledgers
• Manage sales invoicing and maintain related sales schedules

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience

·         5 + years of practical experience, ideally in the manufacturing sector

·         Some supervisory experience

·         Advanced Excel skills, Sage Business/300 a plus

·         Strong financial reporting, reconciling and auditing skills  

COMPENSATION FOR THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER - SALARY TO $90,000 + DOE
