A design firm that specializes in architecture, interiors, engineering, and planning is seeking a Business Development Lead to help them expand their retail practice by cultivating new client relationships and leading impactful commercial projects at their Sacramento, CA office. 

Your Day Includes

• Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to grow retail architecture opportunities across regional markets.

• Build and maintain relationships with developers, brokers, contractors, and consultants throughout the retail real estate community.

• Serve as Architect of Record and lead select retail projects as Project Manager or Principal in Charge.

• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver high-quality ground-up, renovation, and tenant improvement projects.

• Identify opportunities to cross-sell services and strengthen long-term client partnerships.

Must Haves

• Licensed Architect with strong knowledge of retail project delivery and applicable building regulations.

• Demonstrated experience leading retail developments including ground-up centers, repositioning projects, or tenant improvements.

• Strong business development mindset with excellent communication, emotional intelligence, and relationship-building skills across Oregon, Washington, and California markets.
