Position Title: Busser Reports To: FOH Manager / Shift Lead Department: Front of House Status: Non-Exempt / Tipped
Purpose
The Busser supports the guest experience by maintaining clean, organized dining areas and assisting servers in creating a welcoming, efficient, and memorable environment. This role ensures the restaurant glows with cleanliness, speed, and teamwork.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain spotless tables, chairs, floors, and service stations throughout shifts.
Assist servers with water, pre-bussing, and resetting tables quickly.
Support food runners and expo by delivering plates and clearing dishes.
Keep glassware, silverware, and sanitizer stations stocked and organized.
Communicate respectfully with team members and managers to keep the dining room running smoothly.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
Assist with end-of-shift side work, trash removal, and closing duties.
Qualifications
Positive attitude and strong sense of teamwork.
Able to lift up to 35 lbs and stand or walk for long periods.
Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Previous experience preferred but not required.
