Butler Gas is currently seeking an ambitious, safety-oriented individual to join our distribution team at our Headquarters office in McKees Rocks, PA. We have more packaged gas capability than any company in our region, motivated to be the region’s best gas manufacturer and distributor. Butler Gas has been family-owned-and-operated for 76 years.
We are looking for a process-oriented and technically-sound individual with an achiever personality to mobilize bulk product (oxygen, nitrogen, argon, carbon dioxide, helium, hydrogen) throughout our region, both picking up at supplier sites and delivering to customer sites. This individual is organized, likes structure, but thrives in different day-to-day activities with the ability to handle high tension situations.
What will I be doing?
· Driving to customer sites to deliver bulk hazmat product (LOX, LIN, LAR, CO2)
· Unloading product into customer microbulk and bulk tanks, recording product delivered on paperwork for billing
· Interacting with customers at point of delivery
· Picking up product at source plants
· Exchanging tube trailers of compressed helium or compressed hydrogen
· Maintaining the truck assigned, 100% safe operational excellence
Experience / Credentials
· CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker
· At least 1-year prior tanker experience hauling with a tractor trailer
· 1 year with no at-fault accidents on record
· Mechanically capable
· Able to provide thorough, detailed written communication for paperwork
· Has a friendly, upbeat personality
Compensation / Benefits:
· Up to $100K per year with a 60 hour work week
· Hourly wage determined by experience and credentials
