The Buyer Assistant will provide support to the sales department in various buying and purchasing related and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our vehicle purchasing experience.
What you'll do:
Track inventory status throughout the production and sales process using the internal Dealership Management Software (DMS) and/or by physically walking production.
Contact automotive dealers to find needed vehicle inventory and negotiate deals.
Actively participate in vehicle auctions and purchase vehicles with pre-determined min/max pricing.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions for the sales office.
Reconcile sales contracts and maintain tracking numbers for title work.
Assist administration with supporting paperwork as needed.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
Provide administrative support to the sales, finance and other departments as needed.
What you’ll need:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, Bachelor's preferred.
1-2 years of experience in accounting/finance, supply chain/purchasing or related field.
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word
Previous experience in accounting/finance, supply chain/purchasing or related field.
Strong data entry skills, attention to detail, time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to analyze data, perform calculations and read & interpret sales contracts.
Demonstrated initiative, willingness to take on greater challenges, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times.
