About the Role
Wilmington Machinery is expanding its contract molding operations and is seeking a Buyer to manage purchasing, material planning, inventory control, and ERP job setup for molding and post-processing workflows. This role ensures raw materials, packaging, tooling, and consumables arrive on time, meet specifications, and maintain required traceability (including FM Approvals). The Buyer works closely with Operations, Scheduling, Quality, Engineering, and Shipping to maintain accurate ERP data, support production flow, and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Support cycle counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
FM Approvals Material Traceability Support
Ensure all raw materials come from approved vendors and meet FM-required specifications.

Identify opportunities for cost reduction without affecting compliance or quality.
Support Engineering and Quality during supplier qualification or material change processes.

Continuously improve ERP data integrity, part setup, and purchasing workflows.
