  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Manage the order fulfillment process including purchase order entry, purchase order administration, and expediting incoming product
    • Responsible for the creation and setup of new vendor master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
    • Monitor purchase order delivery dates to ensure alignment with supply chain schedules and customer requirements
    • Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts and build and maintain strong relationships
    • Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking, and manage reorder points
    • Analyze market trends to make cost-effective purchasing decisions and manage budgets
    • Execute the purchase order tracking process and ensures purchase orders are processed in accordance with the organization’s customer satisfaction and performance standards
    • Proactively communicate changes in material needs, lead times, or inventory levels to support agile decision-making across the supply chain
    • Track changes in business needs and adjust order quantities to support business increases or decreases
    • Facilitate process improvement, streamlining of costs, to increase the quality of procurement, logistics, and materials management
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or commensurate years’ of experience in a Buyer / Purchaser role
    • Several years of experience as Buyer / Purchaser and / or Inventory Planning within a manufacturing related environment
    • Experience in vendor management
    • Efficient in using MS Office products
    • SAP, ERP experience preferred but not required
    • Fluent English skills
