    BYTE Systems is seeking a Systems Analyst who will provide analysis and expertise to an infrastructure team managing a mission enabling an enterprise-level machine data analytics solution that supports customer mission-critical information systems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

    Your responsibilities will include the following:

    • • Collaborating with other administrators and analysts to enhance development of actionable business intelligence, troubleshooting performance issues, and combatting threats
    • • Identifying and developing detailed documentation on existing processes and procedures
    • • Performing ad hoc tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the organization
    • • Documenting and managing the needs of mission partners and taking into consideration the possibility of conflicting requirements
    • • Establishing and implementing streamlined processes, procedures, and deliverables (e.g., dashboard, reports, knowledge objects, etc.)
    • • Serving as the focal point for data ingestion and communicating with mission partners and fellow team members to achieve goals

      Required Skills

    • • Knowledge of Project Management Framework (PMF) and Agile principles
    • • Demonstrated patience, tenacity, attentiveness, excellent communication skills, and ability to read mission partners and understand their needs
    • • Comfortable in a team and autonomous environment, generally becoming the go-to person within the group for answers and decisions
    • • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Outlook)
    • • Familiarity with Splunk and database queries

      Education

      Candidate must have one of the following:

    • • 12 Years of job related experience and High School/GED diploma
    • • 10 Years of job related experience and Associate degree
    • • 8 Years of job related experience and Bachelor’s degree
    • • 6 Years of job related experience and Master’s degree
    • • 4 Years of job related experience and Doctorate

      Desired Skills

    • • Familiarity with SharePoint administration
    • • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)
    • • Familiarity with an Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment

      Desired Certs

    • • PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
    • • Splunk Core Certified User
    • • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or ability to obtain within 60 days after start
