  • Responsibilities

    We are an international law firm headquartered in New York seeking a C# Developer to become an integral part of an Information Services department within an Amlaw 20 firm. The ideal candidate demonstrates good coding practices and he/she must be willing and available to work off hours and on weekends, as needed. Reporting to the firm’s Systems Development Manager, the person in this role would assume the responsibilities that follow in the section(s) below. The position is a full time role in their amazing Hudson Yards office in NYC hybrid 3x per week. Salary is anywhere between 150-175K depending on experience.
    RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

    APPLICATION IMPLEMENTATION:

    • Designing/developing C#m ASP.NET MVC web applications and modules.
    • Developing application code for new and/or converted systems on an as-needed basis, remaining consistent with coding standards.

     

    GENERAL:

    • Providing ideas for improvement of existing company coding standards, if/as needed.
    • Participating in code review meetings and other opportunities for knowledge sharing.
    • Interacting with users and other teams to efficiently troubleshoot issues.
    • Working with outside vendors as appropriate: software vendors, consultants, integrators, etc.
    • Providing regular status updates to supervisor and project team, in addition to as-needed notification of circumstances that may adversely affect the project schedule.

     

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, XML, T-SQL.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience (with specific dedication to programming/development) required.
    • Degree in Computer Science or related course of study from a major college program; OR degree in another field, supplemented with additional job experience and/or non-degree courses in computer systems studies.

    PLUSES INCLUDWE

    • Experience with SharePoint, I-Manage Cloud, SalesForce
    • Law Firm experience is a plus but not a requirement at all.
  • Compensation
    $150,000-$175,000 per year
