High-end residential contractor in Jacksonville, Florida is looking for an experienced, full-time superintendent.

Job Description:

• Oversee all phases of the construction process

• Coordinate and direct all trades on project

• Ensure compliance with contract documents including drawings, specs, RFI’s, etc.

• Plan and schedule project activities on a daily to weekly basis, as required

• Prepare short term schedules and review schedule updates with project manager

• Verify dimensions within design drawings and coordinate with shop drawings

• Receive and maintain purchased materials and rented equipment

• Directly supervise employees such as carpenters, laborers, etc.

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Management skills

• Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and specifications

• Knowledge of scheduling and cost control

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety procedures

• Minimum of three years’ experience in scheduling, site supervision and quality control

• Strong supervision, organizational and people skills

• Ability to read and comprehend architectural plans and specifications
