C.H. Mason Community Health Clinic –Clinical Support
Responsibilities: This position reports to the Association Director and provides administrative and clerical support for the clinic.
Essential Job Duties: •Patient intake, appointment scheduling, assisting with medical procedures, maintaining patient records, and communicating with patients and staff. •Maintain calendars as requested (e.g. schedule appointments, meetings and teleconferences). • Disseminate information and reports. • File and maintain records. • Screen and return telephone calls, correspondence, faxes, and emails. • Develop and maintain databases. • Research and compile information as requested. • Provide information for and post to the association web site. Also, proof website content. • Assist with conducting surveys. • Transcribe minutes from roundtable meetings. • Back-up receptionist as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements: • High school graduate or GED equivalent. • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as clerical support. • Ability to maintain confidential information. • Attention to detail. • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision. • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. • Strong reading comprehension, oral and written skills required. • Basic business math skills including being able to perform basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions and decimals, measure lengths and distances, solve simple equations. • Strong skills with Excel & MS Office Suite is required.
