    The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in business development, a solid foundation in accounting and economics, and a deep understanding of the local market. This role plays a key part in expanding the commercial lending portfolio and strengthening client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and relationship-building within the local market
    • Assess client financial needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions
    • Review and analyze title reports or surveys to identify potential risks
    • Structure and negotiate loan terms that are mutually beneficial
    • Ensure clients understand loan conditions and terms
    • Monitor delinquent accounts and determine appropriate action
    • Deliver high-level client service while creating value for both the client and the bank
    • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline the lending process
    • Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes
    • Maintain an active pipeline of prospective clients and business opportunities

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
    • 3+ years of commercial lending or related experience
    • Demonstrated success in business development and loan origination
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate financial statements
    • Familiarity with the local market and economic environment
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
