Job Description

We are seeking a Home Technology Sales Representative (outside) to join our team! You will work with our existing customer base of home builders to educate them about the latest trends in smart home technology. You will also prospect new home builders that are not part of our current customer base. You will also be selling home technologies directly to consumers as well to drive company revenue.

Our services include home audio, home automation, monitored security systems, surveillance, networking and other technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers & home builders
• Prospect and contact potential customers and homebuilders
• Regular site visits to active jobsites and design centers
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
• Continuous self education and training in the latest home technology trends
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
• Create sales material to present to customers

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
• Having a creative vision to help customers achieve their home technology goals
• Strong technical aptitude
• Familiarity with with audio/video, networking, security and smart home technologies.
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented

This job includes a base salary plus commission with no caps. You will also receive automobile and cellular reimbursement.
