    We are an educational center working with 4th-12th grade students, and are part of a fast-growing chain of educational service providers. We have been established in the community since 2006 and are looking for a part-time office manager to be part of our team. Responsibilities would include assisting with a variety of office support responsibilities and helping us continue to grow and provide outstanding service to our clients. The successful applicant needs to be a bright and cheerful fast-learner and capable of handling a variety of tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic office environment. Must have solid computer skills with proficiency in MS Office applications such as Excel and Outlook. An interest in contributing to the mission of providing quality educational services would be a plus.

    The position is part-time, averaging around 30 hours per week. There is some flexibility to work out the specific schedule of work hours, but weekday evenings and/or a weekend day will be needed. There are potential opportunities for advancement and fingor increas the hours in your work schedule to almost full-time hours.

    RESPONSIBILITIES • Client interaction: Handle incoming calls and emails, learn about the services we provide to be able to interact in a helpful way with our existing and prospective customers • Perform general administrative support, including managing client data in Excel and within our customer management application; scanning, copying, filing documents (electronic and paper); manage scheduling of appointments • Learn our business processes, and be willing to work with a Center Director and other office staff to support different projects

    SKILLS / QUALITIES • Positive attitude: a willingness to learn new things and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our processes and quality of service • Strong computer and software skills: Adept at working with Excel, Word and Outlook; capacity to learn software our office uses such as a client management app (Salesforce). • Good communication skills both on the phone, in person and through email

    • Strong organizational skills: attention to detail and accuracy; ability to multitask; ability to remember important details of clients

    COMPENSATION

    $23 - $27/hour, plus an optional 401k match by employer.
