    JOB TITLE: SITE COORDINATOR

    SALARY: 14.00

    LOCATION: CUERO, TX

    Job Title: Site Coordinator

    This position is responsible for carrying out day to day operations of designated school sites under supervision of Program Supervisor. Provide services that are customized to meet the individual needs of the participants consistent with Communities in Schools policies and guidelines. Provide exceptional customer service to all CIS program participants.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Identify and select eligible students for participation in the CIS Program.
    • Compile required information from students for participant files as per state/local guidelines.
    • Assist Program Supervisor in coordinating services with social service agencies, school staff, and parents.
    • Conduct student assessments.
    • Maintain accurate and complete files on all CIS participants as necessary in CISTMS computer system.
    • Participate in all CIS activities (field trips, public relations, and community based organizational presentations as needed or assigned).
    • Assist Program Supervisor in preparing and implementing the Campus Operational Plan as required by State and Local guidelines.
    • Coordinate Campus Volunteers.
    • Maintain a positive rapport with school officials, agencies, parents, and other CIS staff.
    • Ability to assist students by providing six basic components of program as needed
    • Work in support of and with social service/employment agencies.
    • Prepare reports due to CIS Central Office (weekly and monthly), including ABA Report.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field of study, or
    • Under Special Approval, Associate Degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study, and two (2) years of work experience in the public or private sector, preferably in youth development

    Skills/Qualifications

    • Public speaking experience.
    • Prefer Two years’ experience in the delivery of services to children and families
    • Basic knowledge of cultural and environmental factors affecting disadvantaged groups
    • Basic knowledge of availability of community resources and supportive services that families can access
    • Must have considerable skill in interviewing techniques.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must demonstrate respect for children and adults, flexibility, patience, good personal hygiene
    • Demonstrated customer service skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Demonstrated computer skills, with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software programs.
    • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
    • Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with management, coworkers, workers from other programs and outside agencies, as well as the public.
    • May be required to utilize a personal automobile for our agency’s related business requiring a current valid driver’s license and current automobile liability insurance.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
