    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Production/Packaging Designer will be responsible for carrying out the execution of design concepts through print or use in digital media. This individual will also be responsible for managing an array of packaging, labeling design, and templates. Given the regulatory nature of the cannabis industry, there will be a strong emphasis on accuracy an attention to detail when managing a large volume of designs across several brands, form factors, and regulatory markets.

    JOB DUTIES:

    Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Manage archive of packaging and labeling art files across all product categories and active markets.
    • Adapting existing packaging and labeling designs to a compliance-approved state for use across all active states.
    • Adapting existing packaging and labeling designs to fit new production templates or brand updates.
    • Convert design concepts to a variety of form factors including flyers, banners, handouts, and digital graphics to support our brands' website, social media, and newsletters.
    • Provide support for team members and vendors using any production files.
    • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to understand business objectives and stay current with immediate and future design needs.
    • Provide brand assets and style guides to vendors and other industry partners; follow up to ensure it is being used within brand standa rds.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    None.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years of professional experience, preferably with a CPG company or creative agency
    • Experience in standard print design, packaging design, digital content design (images, promotional graphics, product photos, etc.)
    • Strong technical skills in other design disciplines including brand identity and campaign support
    • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator are required.
    • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related discipline preferred.
    • Creative; Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Animate are a bonus.
    • Attention to accuracy and detail in creating and reviewing designs to ensure it is compliant and correct before production.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple, wide-reaching, and changing priorities.
    • Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity.
    • Strong Results orientated and commitment to quality, performance, and deliverables.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
