    C3 Industries, comprised of cultivation and manufacturing facilities (with products sold under the Cloud Cover brand name) and retail locations (operated under the High Profile banner), is dedicated to masterfully crafting, branding, and selling premium cannabis products in legal medical and recreational markets. A passion for cannabis combined with a desire to produce premium, high-quality products, drove the company's founders to launch the business in 2017.

    Since that time, the company has quickly grown its operations to four states with vertically integrated operations consisting of approximately 250,000 square feet of cannabis production space and more than 20 retail dispensaries in various stages of development across all its markets. The company has raised significant capital to date, is profitable and fully funded for all its current projects across Michigan, Oregon, Missouri, and Massachusetts, and is strategically positioned for continued significant growth.

    WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MARKETING COMPLIANCE SPECIALIST who will be responsible for performing the analysis of marketing, advertising, and promotional events for all C3 Industries Brands. IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL ….

    • Ensure all advertising, packaging, marketing, promotional programs, events, and awareness campaigns comply with regulatory compliance as well as state and local requirements.
    • Assist with developing submittal and approval process for promotional collateral to ensure all materials are complainant with state and local regulations.
    • Collaborate with Retail Leadership, Marketing, Sales and Retail Operations to create and maintain compliance checklists for marketing related projects & materials.  
    • Manage the review and approval for marketing items for all markets' retail stores including but not limited to, signage, promotional flyers, social media, online advertisements, event marketing, etc.
    • Manage the review and approval for packaging and labels, and all other promotional marketing for wholesale brands
    • Assist Director of Compliance on compiling documentation and required reporting.
    • Stay current with federal, state and local laws pertaining to marketing operations and ensure compliance with such laws; update compliance documentation and processes as regulations and laws change.
    • Collaborate with cross functional partners to educate employees on state and local laws and ensure all processes and procedures align with those governances. 
    • Collaborate on developing employee compliance trainings for company employees and create training manuals that align with company SOPs.
    • Occasionally correspond with state specific governing bodies to seek guidance on law interpretation, document all correspondence.

    SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE...

    • 2+ years of experience in a highly regulated industry in a department such as marketing, compliance, or quality control. Cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to read and understand laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
    • Excellent organization skills, ability to develop and implement operational best practices. 
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationship with internal and external contacts.
    • Ability to travel to various sites throughout the country.
    • Ability to use is Microsoft Office with ability to learn new software.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with regulating bodies.
    • High attention to detail, and experience inputting and reporting on high volumes of data.
    • Proven ability to establish strong credibility and build relationships and operate in an environment of ambiguity.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check.
    • Must be able to obtain & maintain required state licenses based on work location.
