Job Description

We are looking to add an Operations Manufacturing Manager in our SANTA ANA location who will own day-to-day operations and long-term planning of the Santa Ana Operation. You will define goals, improve processes, and resolve problems. Our Operation Managers is responsible for translating customer requirements into key manufacturing strategies and processes, resulting in efficient processing and the profitable manufacturing of company products.

YOU WILL SHAPE THE FUTURE BY:

• Daily management & coordination of the Fiber and copper termination lines, warehouse, and logistics department.
• Creation and implementation of a critical metric set to improve the speed, quality and safety, dependability, flexibility and cost of the organization;
• Planning of daily orders together with Sales and customer service;
• Coordination with OPS manager in Pineville NC to balance order / production load;
• Construction and execution of a training plan for the entire hourly work force to ensure a high quality of work and flexibility towards the different manufacturing lines;
• Providing Interpersonal gap analysis and recommended improvements;
• Implementation of EH&S audit recommendations together with Engineering.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Business or relevant practice experience;
• Minimum of ten years’ experience working within a manufacturing environment specifically in a high tech, telecoms or mechanical industry;
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading a manufacturing operation of significant size and complexity;
• Cable termination knowledge is highly preferable;
• Bilingual English and Spanish as we have a 90% Spanish-speaking workforce.
