    • Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

    SCOPE: Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Product validation, Feature validation, systems and performance analysis for 5G (mmWave & sub-6GHz) products
    • Supporting development and system integration for 5G products focusing on Air interface, E2E performance, and Call Processing.
    • Writing test plans, Performing Quality Assurance (QA) testing, analyzing test results, debugging failures and working closely with the development team to identify root causes and resolve problems.
    • Defining system test cases and automation execution to ensure product meets product and system requirements for customer deployment.
    • Performing system (SW+HW) characterization and validating product specifications by collecting and processing test data
    • Supporting interoperability testing with RAN and core network vendors as part of carrier certification and customer acceptance procedures
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong knowledge in LTE and 5G air interface protocols, call processing technologies and NSA network architecture
    •  Good Knowledge of LTE and 5G system and 3GPP specifications and protocols, including PHY, MAC, RLC, RRC and PDCP layers.
    •  Experience in test planning, execution and triage of LTE and 5G 3GPP features
    •  Basic experience with Linux toolkit and IP-based platforms and IP networking
    • Scripting experience specifically in bash, Perl and/or Python.
    • Experience with test tools including protocol analyzers, XCAL/QXDM, Wireshark, LTE/5G UE debugging tools, IPERF3, traffic generator
    • Willing to travel on demand and be able to work well in a fast-paced technical environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Advanced scripting experience including API development in Python
    • Solid understanding on LTE/5G concepts such as DL/UL scheduling, power control, beamforming, MIMO
    •  Experience with Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Viavi TM500

    Education Requirements

    •  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years’ experience.
    • Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years’ experience is preferred

    This is a contract position.

    • Location: San Diego, CA
    • Duration of contract: 1 Year
    • Education/ Experience:  Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 12+ years’ experience.,Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years’ experience is preferred
    • Pay Rate: $45-51 per hr.
