• Monday-Friday, 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m.
• Working hours may fluctuate based on project needs.
• Overtime may also be available based on project needs when manager approved.

SCOPE OF POSITION:

• You will be a member of the fast-growing Manufacturing Software and Analytical Solutions group.
• Our mission is to provide impactful software, advanced analytics and manufacturing systems expertise.
• You will apply your manufacturing system development experience to work with customers to develop and implement data and information systems that collect, store, transfer, and display information from a manufacturing or control system.
• The overall purpose of these information systems is to improve operational and business decision to bring lasting value to the company.
• To provide this value you will be expected to develop engineering solutions by creating new and modifying existing commercial off the shelf software applications, such as OSI PI. Strong verbal skills are needed to interact with customer to gather, define, and Analyzes system requirements and business processes.
• Also, a technical curiosity will help when troubleshooting complex applications problems or other engineering problems that may have a significant impact on the business.

Day to Day Responsibilities

•  Install, configure, monitor of PI-System servers, interfaces, tags, and user tools
•  Perform Administrative functions on OSI PI system across the company
•  Consult with equipment engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware, software, and operational and performance requirements of overall systems

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other engineering majors with strong software skills with
• 5-10 years of applicable experience

THIS IS A CONTRACT POSITION.

• Location: USA - NY - Corning
• Duration of contract: 7 Months
• Education/Experience: BS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, 5-10 years of applicable experience
• Pay Rate: $36-43 per hr.
