Overview The CADD Drafter is responsible for assisting in the design and drafting of coastal/civil engineering projects from conception to completion. You will apply your experience in: site layout, grading, road design, utility design and profiles, coastal structure design, concepts, permitting, erosion and sediment control and regulatory permitting. You will be responsible for the production of civil engineering construction documents while adhering to client requirements, regulatory requirements, and site adjustments.
Essential Duties: Drafting support of the engineering staff Prepare plan sets Detail drafting City/state regulations & zoning review Generate road layouts drainage design, subdivision Maintaining strict CAD standards
Other Duties and Responsibilities: Willing to learn grading & drainage design Willing to adapt to internal drafting standards Survey & field crew work as needed General administrative support Organizing and maintaining project files
Requirements: Experience: 0-3 years of CAD drafting Education: Related education a plus Software: AutoCAD or equivalent required; Carlson Software and other design software a plus.
