Job Summary:
The CADD Technician II will work under the direction of an immediate supervisor based out of our Norman office. The CADD Technician II will perform a variety of technical, professional and administrative tasks requiring considerate background in CADD operations, transportation management, and department plans.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May supervise professional and/or technical staff.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all phases of CADD operations, transportation management operations, and use of software related to CADD operations
- Provides training, guidance, expertise and assistance in to professional and/or technical staff
- Designs and prepares complex civil drawing for transportation projects and building structures which may include earthwork, drainage, material quantities, geometrics, and details using CADD applications
- Incorporate red-line changes in existing drawings as directed
- Computes geometry for layouts and details of drawings, plans, and maps
- Performs other related duties, as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Ability to read and interpret engineering plans
- Mathematics including algebra, plane and solid geometry and basic trigonometry
