POSITION SUMMARY The Associate, Coalition Development Services is an entry-level position responsible for supporting the CADCA’s National Coalition Institute. The Associate will work in collaboration with the Deputy Director and Coalition Development Consultants to carry out the National Coalition Institute’s mission is to facilitate intensive, comprehensive coalition development support (i.e., technical assistance) to community coalitions and state and federal leaders.
SPECIFIC DUTIES The Associate, Coalition Development Services will be required, among other tasks, to:
Ceremony held yearly at CADCA’s National Leadership Forum
Virginia (DMV) region
Develop and deliver presentations and/or training for local outreach events and conferences
Conduct local outreach to nearby coalitions by participating in events, and meetings and by offering personal coalition development support efforts
Work with Training, Coalition Development, and Outreach colleagues to support special projects
Other duties as assigned
PREFERRED SKILLS
The Associate, Coalition Development Services must have some experience in project management and substance misuse/use prevention and demonstrate competency in the above areas. The ideal candidate will have or possess:
REQUIRED TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS
AMOUNT OF TRAVEL: 20% annually
Location Candidates must be centrally located in the Alexandria, Virginia, area. CADCA employees are required to work on-site. Hybrid schedules are available after the employee has been hired
