    CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is seeking an Exercise Planner to join our dynamic team in Camp Pendleton, CA.

     

    The candidate will develop exercise options based on unit availability, training requirements, and exercise objectives. Develops and briefs exercise options to senior client leaders, works with outside organizations and subordinate units during mission analysis, and finalizes exercise planning by providing concept of operations and writing exercise orders. Collects data and develops after action reports and builds after action briefings for senior client leaders. Utilizes existing resources to develop exercises of Joint and Combined training events.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Provide logistics operations analysis for material readiness and training
    • Conduct training analysis and prepare training reports as required by the deliverable table.
    • Assist in the development of the MEF Materiel Readiness Training Cell (MRTC) training schedule and instructor assignments in coordination with MRTC OIC and Co-Directors.
    • As required, liaise with the other MEFs, Logistics Systems Coordination office (LSCO), Logistics Readiness Evaluation (LRE) teams, GCSS-MC Program Office, other MRTC, and FSMAO-West.
    • Update the MRTC training database, entering course completion data in the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS), provide MEF level training status reports, and coordinate and collaborate with other MRTCs.
    • Conduct program analysis and provide recommendations to MRTC regarding efficiencies that can be gained through use of technology.
    • Assist in providing data to support I MEF during GCSS-MC MEF review boards for the purpose of identifying, improving, and capitalizing on training weaknesses.
    • Recommend specific training on USMC materiel readiness and the GCSS-MC system across MEF units utilizing Subject Matter Expert (SME) support with knowledge of the USMC supply & maintenance policies and processes and the GCSS-MC system through the use of training handouts, instruction manuals, or other information sources.
    • As required, travel outside of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton to ensure all logistics associated with Mobile Training Teams is coordinated with the respective bases and attend MRTC related conferences.
    • Assist in conducting training in accordance with approved curriculum. The training consist of an average of (estimated) nine (9) courses per month. Courses range from 1-5 days in duration approximately. Courses are scheduled in two (2) training tracks conducting two courses concurrently in separate classrooms.
    • Assist in installing, deploying, operating, and maintaining the Mobile Training Suite in Camp Pendleton, 29 Palms, and Yuma.
    • As required, participate in periodic GCSS-MC MEF review boards for the purpose of identifying, improving and capitalizing on training weaknesses.
    • As required, provide working level liaison support as required between the MEF and other Marine Corps Commands.
    • Assist in providing input and support for updating the MEF, GCSS-MC, and other logistics Standard Operating Procedures.
    • Provide local Camp Pendleton units with SME support on supply and maintenance policies and the applicable logistics systems through training contact teams during white space blocks of the approved scheduled curriculum.
    • Assist in the development of practical applications that targets functional weaknesses resident in the MEF.
    • Deliver reports, including Procurement Observation Report and Recommendation, Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) Report, Supply System Responsibility Items (SSRI) Configuration Reports, DPAS to GCSS-MC Computer Asset Transfer Report, Service Request and Document Number Data Report

    Required Skills

    • Must possess/maintain active Secret clearance
    • Familiarity with OPLAN/CONPLANs
    • Familiarity/Understanding of USMC MARFORPAC forces

     

    Required Experience

     

    • Experience in Department of Defense supply and/or maintenance operations (minimum 4 years)
    • Experience in curriculum development and instructing, data analytics and visualization
    • Proficiency in GCSS-MC Oracle Suite
    • Working knowledge of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) or similar programs.
    • Experience in managing multiple projects with varying complexity,
    • Operational experience as a senior level subject matter expert for a large scale Joint Operations training, exercise and Global Force Management events.
    • Experience with Joint Operational Planning and Execution System (JOPES), Global Command and Control System Marine Corps (GCCS-MC), Command and Control Personal Computer (C2PC), Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS), and Theater Battle Management Core Systems (TBMCS); and Department of Defense Messaging System(DMS).
