      As the global outbreak of COVID-19 continues to unfold, Latham has taken precautions to help protect our people, clients, and the communities where we live and work. This includes a temporary shift to remote working for the majority of our lawyers and staff. The Analyst will likely start remotely while the firm continues to evaluate the situation.

    The Enterprise Applications Analyst will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance.     The Enterprise Applications Analyst is responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of the firm's enterprise software application platforms which allow attorneys and staff to perform their job functions from the office and remote locations. Examples of these applications include the firm’s document management system (iManage), the Microsoft Office Suite, Business Process Workflow (Intapp Open) and Travel/Expense Reimbursement systems (Chrome River). You will be responsible for the overall health and stability of multiple applications as well as planning and deploying all patches and security updates within a timely manner. You will work independently and/or as part of a project team related to large scale software or hardware deployments. Additionally, you will present new and innovative solutions for existing challenges and current platforms while accomplishing these and other critical functions:

     

    • Designing, implementing and supporting software solutions for all facets of attorney’s work such as document generation, business development and intake, client billing, etc.
    • Proposing additional enhancements and new software solutions for our legal professionals and administrative departments.
    • Troubleshooting software problems for firm users as they relate to firm-wide, departmentally driven technology projects.
    • Installing, maintaining, and upgrading software for all users within the firm. Making recommendations regarding setting of standards for firm software.
    • Producing training materials and delivering training to regional trainers, the Global Technology Support Center, and to end-users regarding specialized applications.
    • Providing additional end-user technical support as needed.
    • Keeping abreast of new technologies; reviewing appropriate periodicals and journals; working with Practice Support staff to assess training and development needs.
    • Coordinating with other areas/departments where overlap exists to develop efficient procedures/communications to streamline processes and satisfy various department needs.
    • Completing project tasks on various issues when needed.

     

     

    As an Enterprise Applications Analyst, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude.  The successful Enterprise Applications Analyst candidate must have knowledge and proficiency in the administration and deployment for a wide variety of software programs, including Microsoft Windows Enterprise, Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook); knowledge and proficiency with administration and maintenance of relational databases used by supported applications; experience with unattended software deployment tools is a plus.

     

    A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of experience in a software support role required.  Two (2) years of experience providing upper-level support, training, or mentoring for other technology department personnel is preferred. Experience with enterprise class software installations and upgrades, training and technical documentation is required and experience supporting a large, multi-office environment is desired.
