Consigli Construction Co. is seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Security Engineer. As a Security Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading the security and integrity of our systems, applications, and data. In this role you will take the lead in helping build Consigli's security posture with a team focused on our cybersecurity initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment.

    • Lead in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of security solutions to protect the organization's infrastructure, systems, and data.
    • Monitor and analyze security events, network traffic, and system logs to identify potential security incidents or vulnerabilities.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation strategies.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls and practices into the development and deployment processes.
    • Lead in the investigation and resolution of security incidents, including incident response and forensic analysis.
    • Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, vulnerabilities, and threat intelligence to proactively identify potential risks and recommend appropriate countermeasures.
    • Lead in the implementation and management of identity and access management solutions, including user provisioning and authentication mechanisms.
    • Assist in developing the security team at Consigli and assist in developing talent.

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Solid understanding of network protocols, security principles, and common attack vectors.

    • Familiarity with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and vulnerability scanning tools.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

    • Familiarity with cloud security concepts and technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS) is desirable.

    • Experience leading teams desirable.
