This includes a shift to remote working for the majority of our lawyers and staff.  The Global Learning & Development E-Learning Specialist will likely start remotely while the firm continues to evaluate the situation. The Global Learning & Development E-Learning Specialist will receive a generous total compensation package. Bonuses are awarded in recognition of individual and firm performance. As a Global Learning & Development E-Learning Specialist at Latham, you will support the department and the office by supporting the activities related to the learning management system and learning technologies.  The Specialist is responsible for providing a variety of E-Learning support services for the Learning & Development function and will contribute your expertise to supporting with day-to-day operation of the Learning Management System ("LMS") function and support with existing and new training programs, while accomplishing these and other critical functions:  

    • Managing the day-to-day working of MyLearning and other learning technologies
    • Acting as a point of contact on the LMS to set strategic direction for the system, train staff on functionality and troubleshoot issues and glitches
    • Managing vendor relationships with compliance training and learning technologies
    • Authoring and creating course packages for various department learning needs
    • Collaborating with the rest of the learning and development team to integrate e-learning into existing learning and development solutions
    • Managing reporting for courses and learning as well as for departmental requests
    • Collaborating with the Technology department to align direction of LMS initiatives
    • Developing and/or coordinating teaching aids such as outlines, handouts, instructions, and tip sheets

    As a Global Learning and Development Specialist, E-Learning, you will be expected to apply your organizational and communication skills while displaying a positive, high-energy attitude. The successful Global Learning and Development Specialist, E-Learning must display comprehensive knowledge of Learning & Development functions.  Outstanding communication and facilitation skills are desired.  Experience working with an LMS, preferably Saba Cloud, is desired, as well as experience with e-Learning Development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, and/or TechSmith Camtasia.  The Specialist must also have experience with compliance training and working with vendors.  Organizational skills needed to manage time well, prioritize effectively, and handle multiple deadlines are desired. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.  Focus in a related field is preferred.  A minimum of three (3) years Human Resources experience is desired.  A minimum of three (3) years of training and development experience in a legal or professional services environment is preferred.  Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply by clicking the ‘Apply Now’ link.
