CALSTART has an immediate 3- month paid internship opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join our Trucks Initiative. This position will support the Trucks team and report directly to the Deputy Director of Trucks. Our intern will play an important role in identifying charger reliability standards, protocols, and best practices used in the light-duty passenger car space that can be utilized in the medium- and heavy-duty space.

Qualifications:
Completed at least three years of accredited college/university level coursework pursuing a bachelor's degree in communication, urban studies, transportation planning, public policy, sustainability, engineering, business development, or other related fields.
Self-driven and motivated individual that is passionate about clean transportation and research.
Strong writing skills and an ability to communicate technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
Experienced in research and report writing with the ability to search through directions, summarize findings, and assist managers with presentational materials.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and task management abilities.
Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders and audiences.
Ability to work independently in a remote work environment.
Familiarity with emerging trends in zero-emission transportation infrastructure and/or vehicles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and PowerPoint
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Minimum commitment of 10 hrs/week
